I wouldn't worry about parts breaking or falling off if you shoot regular 124 gr round nose ball through it. Maximum M.V. should be no more than about 1075 fps.
The regular old garden variety Remington ammo, currently available everywhere, should work just fine, though you may experience some jams, as they are not loaded to the proper original OAL for proper step-feeding in the Luger.
I would avoid the +P or +P+ loads available at some dealers, as these are just too strong and may just beat your Parabellum to death.
