Anything is possible, but the Simson's I have seen have many Simson proofs, from the Tech pages on the left, here are 3 different sets of proofs and markings commonally found on guns reworked by Simson:

and #37 (upper left corner), is a Waffen AMT found on 30-33 reworks on Mauser and Simson
