This is an interesting police.

It started off as a DWM 1917, then was reissued to the police during the Weimar era. It has a sear safety (installed circa 1933), it does not have a magazine safety, nor did it ever have one. It has a crown N on the right side?? See to the left of the proofs and acceptance, there is a crown N on the rail, above and below?
The serial number is 9690 with a suffix of M. It has been around the block with police markings, see the pictures!!
