Johnny, No and neither should you. There are many originals out there for reasonable prices. They will continue to escalate in value as all other German Luger related items have done over the years. Repro's are poorly made, don't fit the weapon and look and feel like crap. They are stiff and will scrape the hide off of your Luger. They are an an abomanation and you will regret it if you have any asthetic sensibilities.

Yes they have their place for those too poor to spend a few bucks more or for reinactors who do not want to ruin a genuine one one rolling around in a trench. I have never found a company that makes a repro worth having. Of course here is a qualifier for those who will disagree. If anyone out there makes a repro that is up to the same standards set by pre 1945 German holsters I would say by all means buy one. There isn't any and there never will be. This type of craftsmanship has been lost, never to return. A holster made to this high standard would exceed the price an original brings today.Instead of a beautiful dress you wouldn't buy a flour sack for your Wife would you? Jerry Burney
