I'm somewhat surprised to see that these Numrich Wood Bottom Magazines do not come up to the standards that there reputation deserves.
The grain is horizontal in the side view and to even appear close to proper the grain should run vertical along the longest dimension of the magazine.
Just looks strange to me because I'm used to seeing something that appears normal to the standard "Woodies".
Have you given this a thought? I'm not intending to belittle your selection, If its satisfactory to you its not my choice.
