Hi Greg,

The luger you are considering to purchase came in both 9 mm and .30 cal...if 9 mm, its serial number would start with 11.xxxxx and if .30 cal, its serial number would start with 10.xxxxx.

You might find you like shooting this 1970's Luger and may want to keep it even when you get a real 6" Navy Luger...those are a bit more rare and prabably not worth the risk of shooting alot.
