Default Re: Russian ammo problems! :(

Hi Mark! I'm afraid that I don't shoot enough 9mm to make an accurate value judgement in that area.......I have shot thousands and thousands of PMC .223 rounds throught my AR's...when I was assembling AR's in the 70's and 80's, a real problem was getting high quality non-colt parts, and then trying to make them work in aftermarket receivers. It was a real problem even before you were forbidden to use military parts. (usually was the bolt carrier) My final function test became firing the rifle (into a suitable bullet stop) near vertical (buttstock up) while holding it by the pistol grip only....if it would fire 3 rounds of PMC and lock open...it was good for thousands of more rounds....I tried the wolf ammo out here in Arizona, and had to relearn the lessons I had forgot from South Dakota....they say the mind is the second thing to go! PMC is a great mid priced ammo....I have never had any problems with it! Best of luck, Mark, on your ammo quest! till...later...G.T.
