I have one of those so called "Russian Lugers" ,the ones that came in to the market in the past 10 years.
I saw some info that sugests that it may be a Arsenal rework for use in the East German Police forces ?
My specimen is all matching , deep blue (98%), Mauser Factory (42) ,date stamped on toggle link is 1940.
Weremach proof stampings and import stamps : "C.I.A. S T. ALB VI. " and an "8,82" and 'check mark' on the barrel near the breech right under the serial # 8518 .
