Re: Russian ammo question
Gruss Gott,Alle!
I have wondered about the Russian ammo
for a while, too.I have been told that the steel case ammo is far harder on the extracter than brass case.Is this true or merely another example of misinformation, which someone with my
limited experience falls victim to??
What were the cases of the original
9mm Luger made of?Since I'm far too
incompetent to load(reload) my own ammo,
I would be grateful for any information
regarding what others here have found to
be acceptable commercial brands.To date
my shooters (stainless AIMCO repros)
seem to like the 115gr. PMP (South African) the best of any I've tried.
However,it only shows up in fits and
spurts.I need to find something that is
available on a more consistent basis.
Until I hear differently,I think I'll
steer clear of the Wolf!I Know some of
my Walthers didn't like it.Mabybe they're just "finicky expensive guns",
but until I'm satisfied that the Wolf
is acceptable in all regards,I'm reluctant to expose any of my babies to
it.
Thanks in advance for any and all help
you in the Forum Volk can provide!
Tschuss! Mark M.
