The local pawn shop that I use doesn't charge for a NICS check if you buy their gun. They do charge $25 for a transfer fee if the gun comes from another seller. In Georgia, if the buyer has a concealed carry permit, they are not required to have a NICS check. The CCW satisfies that requirement.
