We really need to see pictures of your lugers.

You should take some photos in bright light (out door on an overcast day is ideal)
with a dark gray or red backgroun:

Full view of each side, top, front, rear, and under the barrel at a minimum
Your descriptions are to vague to make much of a guess.

You can also view or download our FAQ booklet in PDF form (see the FAQ menu above).

The American Eagle (AE) lugers were commercial lugers intended for the American market.
It is stamped on the top of the chamber.

Commercial lugers were made in 7.65mm (.30 cal luger) or 9mm.

British stamps would be very interesting.
