Your 1918 DWM Luger left the factory as an Artillery model. It was later converted for Police use by installing a short barrel and a sear safety.
The unit mark S.W. is also Police for Wiesbaden. The II probably indicates the district, area etc. and the number which I cannot make out for certain is the weapon number.
