Major T.... on my matching 1917 Arty Luger (that I shoot) I bought the replacement parts and removed the serial numbered ones that can't be replaced.

Firing pin, extractor, hold open and grips. I replaced the FP with the newer/later vented model too.

Then there is not much else to go ...and I use light ammo in the Arty.
Blazer Brass 115 that is a lighter load than Winchester White box...cycles fine....and cheap.
