My nephew dropped a 9mm luger cartridge into Dad's T-54 (7.62x25mm), which jammed pretty tightly. I was surprised that it chambered. I guess the gun had been heavily used and was well worn.
I think it's pretty dangers extracting a live round.
I had to back it out with a wooden rod.
