Mike, a revision or two:

Plated tube, wood bottom = DWM 1900-1930, Erfurt 1910-1918

Aluminum bottom = all new production (Simson, Haenel (also Krieghoff)) 1925-1941

Can't tell you Swiss off the top of my head
