I've shaken the trees for the forum's benefit every year, around xmas time. John graciously acknowledges donors with a variety of monikers like "Lifer," etc. Although it's always fun to see what he'll come up with, I gave him a break last year and said he needn't bother unless he really wanted to. I see it as one of the best investments around, and in this light, no fanfare is even necessary.
