Thanks for the information.
I wasn't sure about the side plate inside number because of what I read on this forum about the inside number being one higher then the first digit of the serial number. I thought possibly it should be 2.
Did Mauser stop numbering the magazines with the introduction of the ones with black plastic bottoms?
