Just thought I would jump on the bandwagon... I believe that these poorly checkered plastic or bakelite grips represent post-war replacements...probably from the eastern block somewhere...
I have seen many of them and they look like they were injection molded in molds that were made by convicts with files...
While they may be serviceable for shooting, I think they look terrible, especially when compared to original grips. Even the VOPO grips with the target on the side look like great quality next to these...
