Semantics can cloud the waters. I have seen both m98 and k98 rifle sights used as sight blades.
Both work quite well as do many other rifle sights.
The main thing is not whether its called a 'barley corn', a 'partridge' or an 'm98 or k98 rifle sight but that Thor has done a wonderful job and this gun would make anyone proud.

I believe it is important to use the correct "name"- using the wrong name only perpetuates errors and confusion.
The differences between sight shapes are important- in this case the front sight is not original and that is what should be known.
