1912 Erfurt Unit Marking?
Greetings,
I have the opportunity to purchase a nice 1912 Erfurt P-08 that has what I assume is a Unit marking?
It is stamped P.D.G.8. on the front of the grip frame.
I am not sure, but I think I can discern that this marking was stamped over another one?
I am going to examine it in person Tuesday and would like to know what it means. I appreciate any insight you can give me.
