Hi David, -- are you sure the markings aren't A.S.14 -- The one I'm looking at is A.S.14 instead of S.A.14 -- If it's A.S.14 it is "Artillery School weapon number 14".


Also, you have to give us more on the gun when requesting these translations as a gun with a sear safety translate completely differently than a gun without a sear safety.


For instance, the S.A.14 could have several different meaning-- a police translation and an Imperial translation. In this case, the date 1921 rules out an Imperial translation, but not an Weimar army translation. Hope this helps some.
