The Haenel Schmeisser magazines are among the best ever made for Lugers.

They were made from folded welded steel that was then milled down to the exact magazine dimensions. With even extensive use, they tend to run well.

You don't see magazines made this well for even modern guns.

As your magazine has finish loss, and the Luger is your shooter, I would not hesitate using it.

During WW2, Haenel Schmeisser used the "fxo" concealment code, and the E/37 inspector stamp is found on them.

Even after the end of WW2, the East German Ernst Thalmann company (a people's enterprise) absorbed the Schmeisser works, and continued to manufacture these magazines with the 2/1001 concealment code for EG and RC Lugers.
