Bit by bit we get to the facts on this pistol, thanks to all of you willing to share your knowledge and experience. Thanks, Dwight, that's interesting about the chamber top profile, and means my gun could possibly have not been dated, as Doubs mentioned, and may be an early undated example. I think I'm going to assume it is an early undated one and the chamber top has not been ground, and the '1920' was stamped as Doubs stated for use by the Weimar government. Did they not still use rust-bluing when refinishing Lugers in the '20s?
