Question Lucky find or alphabet soup

I hope someone can give me a little help in identifying this gun.

The toggle is DWM and the chamber is stamped 1920 over 1911. The gun
is in very good condition and all parts match ser# 7493d. I think it's
a factory re-work issued to the police post WWI, but could use a little
help verifying this.

All of the proofs and serial markings seem to match to a 1908 military
model and the original date is 1911, but this gun has a stock lug. Everyone
I've talked to has stated that the stock lug appeared after 1913, but
according to Datig, "The Luger pistol" ( 4th printing ) page 202 a
production charts lists a 1908 military model with a stock lug. Does
anyone else have a 1908 with a stock lug ?

The gun has a police sear safety, but no mag safety and the hold open
bar or spring has been factory added (according to the proof mark on the bar)

The following marking appear on the front grip strap "K.Lj. 17."
I'm told that this might be a police marking, but does not meet the WWI
regiment marking protocols. Anyone have any Ideas ?

I've uploaded some photos to help with the ID.
