I don't collect K dates and am not knowledgable of that variation but, as no one has replied, will convey some general comments.
Experienced K Date collectors say most K-dates are faked/enhanced which is especially bracing for me as the more common varieties I do collect are often altered to boost price. I cannot imagine buying a K date without a pre-inspection by an expert collector. IMO no newer collector should be considering K-dates.
As a collector of 1936-1941 military P 08s, to me the finish and K-stamp are suspicious to my eye. The s-link coupling is blued when it should be in the white, that is hard evidence of re-blue.
If you go to the Simpson Ltd. site you can find photos of original K-dates; compare them to this one and you'll see what I mean when I say it doesn't look right.
As it is refinished I would give it shooter value, $900-$1,100. Phrased differently I would not pay more than that unless a K-date expert advised that it was genuine and all-matching and I was in the market for such a pistol.
