It can depend on a few factors.

However, almost always they were likely issued with two magazines - army have one number, the second has a +

The other for police would have a 1 or 2

Now, generally I believe that one from the factory will have two eagle 6 on the base (top and bottom) and one on the spine.

They started making them and issuing with aluminum bases. At some point, around the 6,000 mark, a hundred or so, perhaps more, likely less) were issued with wood bases.

You will find eagle 46 on the base (one), none on the spine - these likely were replacement magazines and I believe for police.
