Normally called a "crescent" butt stock.

Take my word for it, if it isn't tucked into the shoulder properly, it will punish the shooter. I have Winchester Hi-Walls in .38-55 and .45-70 with crescent butt stocks and they will let you know if it's shouldered wrong.

Your second stock looks great and that should be a fun Luger to shoot.
