As noted by Pete E. on the other forum a few years ago, Shattuck often used a sticker on the right side frame ear recess to record an inventory number. Often these stickers stayed on for years and removing them left a circular shadow that is/was almost impossible to remove. If you see one of these, it's likely a Shattuck gun (there are hundreds of guns so marked).
