Hugh, I was surprised by what you paid for that book. I picked up a copy at the Salida CO gun show two weeks ago. Needless to say you must be way richer than my humble self. There is also an interesting photo of a deaths head stamp on a policemans holster at the back of the book.

I have been researching Luger lanyards for over five years and have quite an archive of photo's taken of original lanyards found in European collections and combat photo's of soldiers wearing them. I also have copies of German Heers orders for the issue and use of Luger lanyards issued to Cavalry and motorcycle troops. An interesting subject to me. Jerry Burney
