Hello,
Your magazine may either be deformed around the top loading area or the magazine body itself may be twisted out of alignment. The crimped sheet metal bodies are bad about twisting. They get loose in the crimping! Try another magazine.
It has been my experience if everything is "right" the magazine will drop out when released.
