Here's how I assemble them... It's a bit different from disassembly in that the entirely assembled upper goes into the frame from the front. Raise the tail of the toggle system to avoid scratching the ears of the barrel extension. Slide things to their rearmost extent in the frame. Before lowering far enough to hook the tip of the recoil spring guide into the detente on the rear toggle link, make sure the firing pin spring guide's ring is nestled into its slot in the toggle joint and oriented fairly correctly, straight up and down. A tapered bamboo skewer will aid in lining up the ring before inserting the rear axle. Once the axle is in, simply take care that the toggle detente/guide tip interface isn't dislodged while pushing everything forward to install the locking bolt.
I'd recommend reassembly without the springs first, to check for binding, etc. in the action. We'll presume the gun is clean and properly lubed. If your ammo is not suspect, Bob's Gun Parts still sells a set of all springs for your pistol.
