Quite simple:
He bought a $40 reproduction holster on Ebay. Yes, there are countries that are creating crap like this at an alarming (and cheap hourly) rate.
Then he buried it in a bucket of dirt for a couple of days.
After that he put it on Ebay at an inflated price.
Not exactly rocket science.
