Let me add the following. I have been told to use minimal lubrication on the moving parts by most of the P.08 shooter I know. Unlike the 1911, it doesn't seem to like libral amounts of lube. Could this be a factor affecting you?

I have also noted on some P.08 that if the mag clip is not staying fully seated, it can be a problem.
