Had noticed the mec Gar mags I saw advertised showed as 7.65/9mm soooo I assumed!
Absolutely the same mag will work for either caliber.

Hollow point rounds do not work well in a luger, some will, most won't.

All magazines are not "tuned" properly either, a tweak of the feed lips may be needed in an old, dropped, or not so well formed magazine to feed; also a weak spring will cause problems.

Mec-gar mags are usually fine right out of the package, out of a couple dozen I have bought and used in various lugers, only one gave any sign of a feeding problem; though I did have a couple that would not securely latch the hold open after the last shot.


If your comment refers to trying to chamber a 9mm round in a 7,65mm chamber, then it violates one of the basic rules of gun handling-
USE the Correct AMMO!
