so I swore off buying guns this year......
last year, I decided I've got enough toys and decided not to buy any more guns unless it was a good deal. well january comes and I find a 16" winchester saddle ring carbine model 1894 in 30wcf.. ($100 ) + about $200 in parts
now here we are June 1 stop at the swap meet and buy a colt m1917 .45da in pieces. ( $101) just ordered $100 worth of springs and screws. it cycles fine but the springs are weak.
reminton 510P ($20) + $23 for a replacement trigger guard andscrews
1890 winchester .22wrf octoganal barrel made in 1909. ($220) + $98 replacement parts, magazine tube and extractor.
colt new army/navy in 38lc ($150) + 20 for 2 new springs.
.38sw hopkins and allen revolver, just need ammo $10!
vetterli m1870/87/15 $100 just need ammo
ruger GP100 $80. Needed $199 in parts. stainless even.
So really 5 months and 8 guns. really didnt need any of them, just thought the price was right so I bought them. Maybe I'll have a antique gun sale in the near future. jim
