I'm confused, would post-war German commmercial marks be on a 1914 DWM? Numbers on barrel, reciever and most other parts match, and the barrel and reciever have correct DWM military proof marks according to the Luger Forum web pages for markings. I note that there is a eagle over "N" proof mark listed there for early 1930-33 mauser reworks (#36 on "Proof 4" page). This resembles the eagle over "N" stamped on all major parts of the gun. KFS
