Not all "9mm nato" ammo is loaded to the same velocity or pressure; neither is commercial 9mm "luger".
There are lots of threads here and on the other forum about the possible differences.
You are not out of touch, that article is somewhat misleading - and never trust a guy that says the
specifications "implies"- something; that means "he doesn't know for sure and made no attempt to check it". JMHO
