Bill,
there is no mention of a "H&R 32 long" in my copy of Cartridges of the world.
There is a mention of a generic "32 long" which has a case length of 0.791" and of a "32 long, CF(for center fire)" which is 0.82' long .
Just for reference the 32 S&W long has a case length of 0.93".
