One of the brushes that I find invaluable is formally called a 'stencilling' brush. It has short, stiff, natural bristles and I cut the handle down to about 2". It is great for the knurling on the toggle grips, the holes in the toggle grips and the grooves on the safety lever, the checkering on the mag release and the takedown lever. I am a Hoppes #9 guy and a RIG guy. It's never let me down in over 25 years. I am going to sample some of the Cleanzoil (sp?) just as an aphrodisiac..if it works then I might try it as a solvent/lubricant (on a Luger). Thanks for all the great ideas, what a great group we have. Special thanks to Ted for the grip cleaning procedure in the information section, and while I am at it, thanks dok..you're the best webmaster ever.
