I'm 68, and remember the good times, and bad times, of the 50's and 60's. The best anyone can do is support organizations like the NRA, of which I disagree on a few issues, and get out and vote. I'm from Virginia My great, great, maybe 3 greats, grandfather fought for the south. Was wounded and captured at Gettysburg. In the family burial plot at the old farm house, there is a monument to him put there by the Daughters of the Confederacy. It would be very unpleasant outcome for anyone to come on the farm and try to remove that!
The mass shooting was not in Lakeland.
