What we are seeing are not "prices" per se. Rather we are seeing minimum starting bids established before the auction begins, or the current maximum bid while the auction is active.

My expectations, (FWIW) are these Lugers will actually sell (gavel price) at much higher dollar figures than we are seeing at present. And then the actual, final, all told, price-to-be-paid will include auction fees (buyer premium, packaging fees, shipping/insurance fees, FFL fees, etc.)

Generally speaking, a firearm with a gavel price of, say, $2,000, may actually have a final cost, delivered, in the range of $2,500 - $3000.

I spent thirty years making low-ball bids on these kinds of auctions and had a success rate in the low single digits :-)
