It's not entirely correct for a 1917 Artillery. As George indicates it is likely a surplus stock. However it is not Military proofed with the Crown S or G. Too the serial number is not the standard number size or placement for an Imperial Artillery stock. Not bad if it's cheap enough and can accept it's oddities. Not good for my 1917 Artillery though. Good shooter stock. Just not purely a collectable stock.
