Default I don't know?

I can't remember ever seeing those cabinets open? Most do not realize that to get into Ralphs Luger room, you normally had to be personally invited and set an appointment time ... hardly ever were there more than one or two people at one time, and even then it was not just a loose number of guns to inspect! They were all arraigned, indexed, and coded and normally, you didn't touch unless Ralph procured it for you? He was very cordial to the Luger forum group and lets up have pretty much free reign on inspecting anything outside a display cabinet? Also, the room was usually less bright then the picture show, and usually it was hard to determine condition just by the shear number and overwhelming examples available.. In short, it was like a blue metal blurrr ...
Ralph and I were good friends, but ironically, we never talked Lugers, always kids and family and life's battles as they came to be... I do know that the Luger holster in the back wall LH cabinet was a minty DLU pigskin hard shell, because I mention to Ralph, the black on top had faded from being continuously exposed to the light in the display cabinet?... Of course, he still wouldn't sell it to me! best to all, til...lat'r.....GT
