Default Drum info!

Good luck to you future drum owners! Please keep in mind that there is still a task of tuning your luger to function with a drum is still awaiting you! If you pop it in and it works, that's great! But, ANY deficiency in the luger will show up PDQ (pretty damn quick! )
A strong, (or new ) full strength mainspring is essential... a strong extractor spring in needed as well...
If you have a empty jam issue, it will probably be the springs.... If you have a failure to feed, it may be the drum, ammo, or a particular round in the drum... start over!!
Lock the drum mainspring every time you disassemble the shell from the cup and plate!!!
Polishing the inside of the feed lips will help all of them... you can't over polish the unit.. slick is better!!!
MOST IMPORTANT!!! Treat every jam as a potential for harm! CLEAR the weapon, and MAKE SAFE! before you EVER start pondering the problem!!!
Drums are problematic... If you have any issues, call or write me gctomeks@msn.com and we will get them sorted out!! ...... Best to you all, and best of luck with your new toys!....til...lat'r....GT
