Right now the best options I can suggest are to try both different ammo. AND different magazines. If you know anyone with a functioning Luger see if you can try their magazines. I like 115 gr. S&B, MagTech or Winchester white box, but have nothing against your current choice.
Both Mec-Gar and late Nazi magazines are good, but it is time to think outside of the box and try alternatives.
You may also consider contacting the LugerDoc; he's gotten more than one of mine back on track over the years. Or GT for the ultimate magazines.
But first things first.
I assume that you are holding the gun tightly on firing...
