As a few of us, I'm also a Canadian Collector.....German Military Pistols ( mostly Lugers.....) Have been for a few years
Basic stuff to know:
Do you want an original piece or a shooter ?? .30 Cal or 9 mil ??
Restricted originals would take you in the following categories: Contract piece ( 4 3/4 in 30 Cal ) Arty ( 8 in 9mm, expensive & not too common here ) and last Navy ( 6 inch, VERY VERY EXPENSIVE & close to impossible to find !! )
Shooter built up guns would be in the $600-$850 Cdn range depending on condition, finish & options....
