im not offended...i like to hear all opinions....

i bought a brand new m1 garand collector and stripped it down and i shoot it regularly....not much different..it was $2200....my family enjoys the hell out of that gun...i also own some valuable class 3 guns that value wise dwarf this purchase. Ive got $2k in mags for one of my subguns......not bragging, just adding my perspective....

i will baby it and cross my fingers....its not worth having to me if i cant shoot it once in a while...i consider guns works of functional art...this is the whole purpose of buying such a beautiful gun...

i remember guys on the m1 garand forum who felt so strongly they told me if they knew i intended to shoot a collector grade they wouldnt sell me their gun...so i get the passion.....and i have some of that passion as well...i like minty guns, i like collector guns and i like to shoot those guns with my family on occasion....

to each his own.....i appreciate any comments...all comments are read and thought about sincerely

i am extremely pleased to find out my purchase is everything i thought it was....good deals on collector guns are rare...i search them out when making a purchase, but i always buy quality as it goes up in value the most and is easiest to resell.....thanks for all the positive comments about my Luger.....it was foolish to purchase w/o reading a book or gaining enough knowledge...i liked the strawing and the condition on this gun and was drawn to it immediately....i saw all the others asking $2,000 w/ 0 bids and this one getting bids. I figured i had no chance....once in a while even Charlie Brown (me) gets lucky.
