I did get 3 rounds off last night before it got dark. No Issues that I could tell.
The color is a fairly dark. Photos were taken with an iPhone. I can get daylight photos this weekend if requested.
I did not see any other markings on the holster, I'll have a closer look tonight. I got the Luger and holster for $550. Seems like that is a good price?

That's a good price.
I think what was meant by "if the side plate allows", is that side plates are not 100% interchangeable. If yours shoots, it is ok.
