These are from Altamont. https://www.altamontco.com/pistol-grips/luger/luger They're laser cut. The process works out OK for intricate designs on grip scales with the border, but check out their version of the regular checkered walnut grips. You will note that the pattern is quite distorted on the front and back edges. This is due to the fact that the angle of the cutting does not follow the curved part of the grip's cross-section, and the straight-on application gets more distorted the farther from the plane of the grip's broad face--just like any machine-cut checkered Luger grip.

Although it's difficult to tell on account of the lighting, they may have improved the mold for their cast bonded ivory offerings. Earlier ones I have seen have an excessively broad, un-checkered "scoop" around the grip screws, and the cross-section's front and back tapers started way too early and were too acute. I also still have an issue with how these are still cut in the area around the safety lever--too shallow-looking to mimic an original grip in the same area.
