I don't have a dog in this fight, but have had a couple of transactions "go south" due to poor communications - both as buyer and seller.
If you're running a business, or doing business on the Internet, I expect a reply email no later than 24 hours (business days, of course) after I send one. There are plenty of Fortune 500 companies that put up an expensive website, and then proceed to ignore them, their emails and/or inquiry forms. A huge pet peeve.
